Spending for Christmas is at the highest rate but this will not last long
For now, Americans have been buying anything and everything for Christmas from the latest technology to the latest fashion trends. Growth of online shopping has increased at an instant rate and over a hundred billion dollars were spent since November 1 st . Retailers are chasing customers in new ways; such as: WalMart and Target investing in tools which speed up the consumer waiting lines and rolling out a massive online pickup at thousands of stores. Amazon has also offered free shipping worldwide on all holiday orders. The retail sales have increased by 4.2 per cent but the shares of retailers (Tiffany’s, Target and more) have hit a huge drop in recent weeks as costs rise.
